More Protected in death than in life in Connecticut…unless it’s a bad haircut that troubles you!!

Strictly adding up the numbers, you are more protected in death, than in life in Connecticut against the actions of Licensed Practitioners, and if you want to look good…. it would appear you are protected against a bad haircut!

Based on the Ct DPH quarterly reports from 1/2008 to 6/2010, enforcement actions were recorded as such:

Embalmers….. a total of 17 enforcement actions were taken
LCSW’s…… a total of 11 enforcement actions were taken ( 5 “reinstatement” actions were included for a total of 16)
and …during the same time period 113 barbers and hairdressers had enforcement actions taken against their licenses!
You can come to your own conclusions as to what this is saying about licensed providers “regulated” in the State of Connecticut.

  1. You makes some very good points.

  2. Really dangerous personality disorders, narcissistic, histrionic, borderline and of course psychopathic and I reckon a lot of these make the psy professions.

Maybe one day we will be able to detect these people via a brain scan but in the meantime, if your therapist is super charming and charismatic, RUN LIKE HELL!!!

Ps, I am doing Mindfulness meditation and its helping, gradually to overcome the damage therapy did to me.
